The current work being undertaken to construct a new cycleway through Tawd Park took an exciting turn this week when a new bridge was craned into place across the river.  The bridge links the cycle track between the town centre and the college and replaces the old bridge which was not of a suitable specification for cyclists.

The contractors used a large crane to install the new bridege so that no trees had to be removed.

The cycleway project is on schedule for a mid-January finish.
