Work on creating the Tawd Valley Park cycleway is continuing apace and going really well despite some heavy rain.  The contractors carrying out the work (Nuphalt) have made some great progress with several 100 metres of the final surface already installed.

The next major part of this project will be the installation of a replacement bridge and this should happen around mid November.  Over the next couple of weeks, a temporary track will be created so that the machines can gain access to build the abutments and then the required crane can be brought in to install the bridge.

Feedback from users has already been very good with many people commenting on how much they like the new surface and how well it blends in to the surrounding area.
