Work will be undertaken this year to upgrade some of the existing footpaths to create a cycleway running the full length of Tawd Valley Park.  The new cycleway will connect Whalleys in the northern area with the town centre.  It will be a dual use footpath and cycleway and the finished surface will be a 3m wide porous flexible rubber aggregate surface, suitable for all users.
