Following construction work in late Spring and early summer, over 2.4 kilometres of new path have now been resurfaced, upgraded or installed in the northern zone of Tawd Valley Park (the area north of summer st including Cobbs Clough).

Much of this area is now accessible for those with mobility issues, prams etc, except for a set of steps near Cobbs Brow Lane.
